Summer FUN

Our summer has been busy and full of fun. I can't believe that July is more than half over! We have been to the ZOO which was HOT but lots of fun seeing the animals. Our favorties were the bears, monkeys and riding the train. :) Another trip took us to a WATER park where Madisen was braver than us all. Don't let her quiet personality fool you. She is a big daredevil and rode the BIGGEST, scariest rides that she could find. It was a good thing dad was brave enough to go with her because mom wasn't! I think the best part about the 4th of July for the kids was riding in the children's PARADE, candy, and of course FIREWORKS! We have also been camping, to 4 different weddings and Bret and I just went to see GEORGE STRAIT. (Thanks again to Grandma Zora and Papa Nile for staying with the kids :)) We have one month left until school starts and we planning on using every minute of it with something FUN!! :)

Easter

We have some southern neighbors from Georgia that love to spoil our girls because they have no grandchildren of their own. This Easter they gave them Easter outfits which included hats, gloves and little purses. It is so much fun to dress up when you are a GIRL!

Coloring Easter eggs is a favorite at our house. I boiled 4 dozen eggs for the occasion! :)

SPRING

Spring dresses, Lemonade stands, Kite flying and Pulling weeds. Yay, warm weather is on its way!

Turkey Hunt

This was Bret's first year turkey hunting. He did all his homework....Watched the videos, practiced with his turkey calls , bought decoys, and made sure he knew where they were. It all paid off when he and his dad arose at 4 a.m. and Bret shot the "dumbest" turkey at 7 a.m. (dumb of course because he got caught). Thanks to Nile's turkey calling skills!! I was happy of course because now he doesn't have to hunt all week long! :)

This bow looks huge to me now but I have a picture of Bailey in the exact same outfit and had to get a sister comparison. :)

Kari loves her little play mat and rolls all over the place to get at her toys I love to watch a baby sleeping. Sometimes she smiles or giggles in her sleep and a friend told me that is when babies talk to angels. I think it must be true. :)

My baby is growing up so fast! I thought I better share some pictures of her. She will be 6 months in another week. Where does the time go?

Endowments for Tracy

It has been 2 years now since my little brother was killed and we all miss him so much. The best part of christmas for me was going to the temple with my dad as he did Tracy's temple work. It was sad but so special to be there with my family and do this for him. I look forward to seeing him again one day.

My Prince did come, his name is DADDY

Bret is such a great dad and his girls love him and have so much fun with him. They often say that he is the king or the prince and they are the princesses. I think that is definately true.
